I-D Media launches intranet for Škoda

Fast and relevant information for employees - that is the main feature of Skoda Auto Deutschland's new intranet presence. For the technical realization based on the newly introduced content management system FirstSpirit, Skoda relied on our expertise as a specialist for CMS projects and search engine implementation. With the new Apache Lucene Solr search engine, not only can all intranet content be found quickly, but external services such as the telephone directory and other company applications can also be searched. The display consistently takes into account the stored authorization levels of the employees.

The technical launch of the new Skoda intranet also included a new design, which was created by the communications agency Lattke & Lattke. By using large-format images and lots of white space, the site appears clear and clean with a magazine-like look. Of course, the website is fully responsive and can therefore also be used on tablets or smartphones.

The new Skoda Auto Deutschland intranet was launched by I-D Media in the first quarter of 2019.
