The "My Sky" app is a hybrid app for which I-D Media is responsible for the front-end and CMS development. It is available for Android and iOS. With the app, Sky customers can easily view their subscription, have access to all help topics and manage their personal data and bills. In addition, packages can be booked and Sky Go devices can be organized. The Apache Cordova wrapper was used to access native mobile APIs such as the internal memory, touch ID and voice recognition. The content itself comes from a website that was implemented as a single page application using the Ionic framework for intuitive app behavior based on Angular.js (1.5.x). A REST API serves as the backend. The editorial content can be easily maintained via OpenText WSM CMS.
