Fujifilm customers in the UK and Ireland can now buy directly from the manufacturer online thanks to I-D Media. I-D Media's redesigned Fujifilm UK online store went live for the 2011 Christmas period. During the one-year support period, I-D Media implemented numerous further developments and customer requests for Fujifilm UK.

The online store was developed by I-D Media on the basis of the Magento store software and therefore offers a convenient and easy-to-maintain store backend. The new layout, which integrates seamlessly into the Fujifilm design, is particularly recognizable to the customer.

In addition to the technical implementation and connection to Fujifilm UK's merchandise management system, I-D Media was also responsible for the design. As a special highlight, the new Fujifilm UK store offers customers not only the latest camera models but also refurbished products that have been technically checked by the manufacturer and are sold with a 12-month guarantee.

Speaking of warranty: an additional warranty can be purchased in the store for every Fujifilm camera model, even for products purchased through another sales channel.

In addition, the manufacturer store offers direct access to the repair service as well as numerous price promotions that make purchasing "direct from the factory" attractive.

The development time for the store and the numerous applications was only four months in total.
