I-D Media becomes part of the Dohmen Digital Group

We have great news: With immediate effect, our team is strengthening the agency group, which also includes Intentive and Intentive Systems.

The I-D Media team of around 25 people is now part of the Dohmen Digital Group, which also includes the agency Intentive, which specializes in B2B scenarios, and Intentive Systems, which focuses on individual private cloud solutions and has been active in the digital market for over 20 years. With locations in Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Dresden, Mönchengladbach and Aarau (CH), the Dohmen Digital Group already has a strong presence in the DACH region - the I-D Media location in Cologne further strengthens the regional presence in NRW.

In terms of content, there are already many synergies between I-D Media and the other group companies. Typical customer requirements in the areas of CMS, DAM and PIM can be planned even more flexibly in the future. And with Contentstack, Crownpeak and Ibexa, long-standing product partnerships will be expanded even further within the Dohmen Digital Group as a result of the merger. With many years of expertise with international consumer brands such as Gothaer Versicherungen, NBank, Nintendo, Skoda, Sky and WDR, the agency group now also has extensive B2C expertise. A needs-based exchange in customer projects enables even more flexibility for both companies.

The TranslationStudio developed by I-D Media, a translation management system (TMS) established in the DXP ecosystems of Crownpeak, Contentful, Contentstack, Ibexa, Sitecore and Storyblok, has also been successfully used by Intentive in B2B scenarios for years. TranslationStudio integrates both AI-based and manual translations for CMS, DXP and PIM. By merging the agencies under the umbrella of the Dohmen Digital Group, Intentive is able to respond to the needs of B2B customers even more individually with TranslationStudio.

In return, I-D Media not only benefits from the B2B experience within the Group, but can also use the Intentive Systems Private Cloud to map complex scenarios and services that are not to be operated in public clouds at the customer's request.

Alexander Dohmen, Managing Director of the Dohmen Digital Group, will also become the new Managing Director of I-D Media and is very much looking forward to the task: "We have known many of our colleagues at I-D Media for years and have already successfully realized joint customer projects with some of them. Now a new, intensive period of collaboration is beginning, which the teams at the other Group companies are already very much looking forward to!" Dr. Patrick Sandmann, who previously managed I-D Media as a member of the Management Board and is now handing over responsibility to Alexander Dohmen, also sees the merger as a logical development: "I-D Media and Intentive have always had a lot in common, which can now develop their full potential under one roof."

As part of the takeover, I-D Media will operate as a GmbH in future. Otherwise, little will change for existing I-D Media customers, and the I-D Media brand will also be retained. Alexander Dohmen emphasizes: "We stand for long-term, trusting customer relationships and continue to be a strong partner for complex DXP scenarios. Thanks to the group alliance, we are even more efficient and can implement even the highest requirements of B2C and B2B customers for digital platforms in a short space of time."
